Summer Rec Sports Memberships
Stay in shape this summer! Spring quarter memberships expire on Sunday, June 19. Summer memberships are available to purchase beginning May 1, even if you aren't enrolled in classes or are enrolled in less than four credit hours this summer. Any student currently enrolled for spring 2011 can purchase a summer membership for the quarterly rate of $82. Semester students summer dates run May 15 - August 20, while quarter students summer dates are June 12 - September 20. Visit the RPAC Welcome Center or the front desk at the Adventure Recreation Center (ARC) for assistance.
Girls Field Hockey Clinic May 7
Girls in grades 5-8 are invited to participate in the Girls Field Hockey Clinic at Ohio State on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Tower Park Northwest Turf Field (south of Ohio Stadium). The clinic will be run by Ohio State's most experienced club members, with the head coaches of the Worthington Wolves, St. Agatha Middle School, Worthington Cardinals, Olentangy Middle School, and Worthington Elementary present. Participants should bring a stick, mouth guard, shin guards, water bottle and sunscreen. Cost is $15 if postmarked by April 30; $20 after that date. Proceeds benefit the Club Field Hockey team at Ohio State. Contact Jackie DeLany at delany.8@osu.edu for information.

First half-quarter fitness passes expire on Friday, April 29. If you have one, make sure you purchase a second half-quarter fitness pass to continue taking classes! Half-quarter passes cost $25 and single-session passes cost $5; both passes can be purchased at the RPAC Welcome Center.

Swim Lessons Just in Time for Summer
Community Programs is offering an end of spring two-week Learn-to-Swim program to help your child become more comfortable in the water before summer fun! This session will meet Monday through Thursday for two weeks during the weeks of June 6-9 and June 13-16. Class levels range from parent/child up to Learn-to-Swim level 3, including all levels of preschool aquatics. Registration is open from May 2 through June 1 and spots are limited so register soon! WITS Personal Training Certification Class for Summer
Want to become a personal trainer? Registration is now open for the World Instructors Training Schools (WITS) Personal Training Certification class for summer beginning Saturday, June 18, at 9 a.m. in the RPAC.
