Intramural 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Get your game on at a 3-on-3 intramural basketball tournament July 28 from noon - 5 p.m. in the RPAC South Gym. Cost is $15 per team; limited to the first 16 teams. Registration opens July 17 at 9 a.m. at http://intramurals.osu.edu and closes July 24 at 10 p.m. The winning team receives a $100 gift certificate to SBX.
Ohio State Diving Club Members Named All-Americans; Club Has Strong Showing at Olympic Trials
The Ohio State Diving Club (OSDC) has had a banner year! After capturing its third consecutive national title in three years, seven members of the OSDC headed to the USA Olympic Team trials in Seattle on June 17. The team earned the most overall team points of any American team at the Olympic Trials. Team members returned to Columbus with two second place awards, a seventh place, eighth place, and several additional top 30 awards, with one diver qualifying for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In addition, six members of the Ohio State Diving Club, Hunter Atha (Worthington Kilbourne High School), David Dinsmore (New Albany High School), Grant Saale (Dublin Jerome High School), Olivia Ball (Olentangy Liberty High School), Alexandra Clay (Olentangy Liberty High School), and Brittany Menninger (Olentangy Liberty High School) were selected as All-Americans by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) for high school diving. Leisure Spa Closed Monday and Tuesday, July 9-10
The leisure spa in the RPAC Natatorium will be closed Monday and Tuesday, July 9 – 10, for repairs. We regret the inconvenience.
Ohio State Swim Club Registration Opens Monday, July 9
Registration for the 2012-13 Ohio State Swim Club season opens Monday, July 9, for current team members and their siblings. New swimmers can begin registering on Monday, July 16.
The Ohio State Swim Club is a USA Swimming age-based, competitive swim team with the goal of improving swimmers' physical development through practice and competition. The team, comprised of elementary through college-age swimmers based in the Columbus area, competes in local, national, and international USA Swimming events.
New this fall is a pre-competitive group that provides those who are new to competitive swimming the opportunity to bridge from swim lessons to swim team. Read more.
