Superintendent's Honors and Recognitions The Superintendent's Honors and Recognition celebration is a quarterly, formal approach to acknowledge exceptional student achievement, employee accomplishments and the contribution of community members, business partners and volunteers before the Columbus Board of Education. Any district student or employee, volunteer, contract employee, board member or member of the public can make a nomination with an emphasis on how it supports the CCS mission statement: Each student is highly educated, prepared for leadership and service, and empowered for success as a citizen in a global community.
