In Ohio, only 15 students earned this prestigious award, and eight of the scholars in Ohio attend Columbus City Schools. This scholarship is good-through-graduation and can be used at any college or university the student chooses. Students Make TV Debut Talking About Pennies
Students from 13 different Columbus City School are making their television debut as part of a public service announcement (PSA) for the Penny Harvest service learning program. The students, along with their schoolmates, students from eight other central Ohio schools, school staff and countless others, collected more than $50,000 through the Penny Harvey program.
