May 5th is a little early for the kick off of the garden - we won't have much done yet by that point. Is there a date a little later in May? What kind of funding is available? Is there a website?
Thanks for letting us know about this Marlinda - I think we should definitely do something and if we have to go with May 5th, we'll make it work, but I'd like to see if there is a date a little later.
thanks!

Hi Will and April....2012 is a year-long celebration for the Columbus bicentennial and they are already putting in their calendar different neighborhood events. What do you say we put in their calendar our GRAND OPENING of NECKO PARK and the kick-off of our NECKO-OSU community garden? Saturday, May 5 is an open date. Should we go for it? There are some funding available. Perhaps we could apply? OSU may also help. Would you like us to talk about this?April....Your boyfriend stopped by the house. He said he wanted all the cinder blocks and some cement. Could you kindly tell him to take everything he needed and keep them at the NRCKO community garden? People are stealing some almost everyday now that warm weather is here to use them. Also, one of you left a T-shirt. I placed it on the porch swing.Best wishes...Marlinda

Hi Marlinda! How are you? where are you traveling to recently? the NECKO garden is underway and I see that your house renovation is coming along nicely. I was wondering if you plan to do something with the bricks and chunks of cement that are in your yard? If not, I was wondering if we could have them for the garden? we need some bricks and things for the individual plots, to define borders.what do you think?do you need any help in your house?talk to you soon, aprilOn Thu, May 5, 2011 at 4:38 PM, MARLINDA IYER <sardoviamsi@sbcglobal.net> wrote:
