Wow! If anyone wants to move to my house and start a new project. It looks wonderful and I know everyone at Creative Living appreciates all the hard work. Can't wait to sample some of the produce.

Subject: Garden Update
Hello Gardeners!
We had a GREAT time in the garden this last weekend. Catherine, Patrick, Cheri, and I got a lot done and things are really moving along!
Here's what we accomplished:
Cheri Mikol for wrangling the non-motorized push mower and doing an AWESOME job on half of the grass! Way to go Cheri!!
Marilyn Frank & Creative Living for purchasing soil to fill Jan & Barry's beds
Lu Taylor, Gretchen Farnung, Catherine Best, & Susan Keeny for the donations of ideas, $$, and plants to replace the dead ones
Marlinda Iyer for the cinder blocks which have been so helpful in making the pathways safe and building the new raised beds
Patrick Caffrey for muscling around all the heavy stuff and finishing the raised beds
Catherine Best for helping to transport 56 bags of soil, manure, & peat moss! Our muscles got a workout!
Rick King for feeding hungry garden workers Saturday evening!
I'd like to plan a celebration in July. I'm thinking of a Friday night 5:30pm, like we did last year: July 15th or 22nd. By that time, we'll have some produce to harvest and enjoy together from the community plot. Any opinions? Suggestions for different days/times? Drop me a line and let me know.
Thanks to everyone for their participation and support!

We had a GREAT time in the garden this last weekend. Catherine, Patrick, Cheri, and I got a lot done and things are really moving along!
Here's what we accomplished:
- Removed weeds and dead plants from community plot
- Planted 40 tomato plants
- Planted replacement herbs
- Staked all tomato plants, peas and beans
- Laid newspaper around tomatoes and peppers to help with weed mitigation
- Built a ground-level raised bed over the odd bed that just refused to grow anything
- Watered and turned compost
- Completed raised beds for Jan and Barry
- Filled new beds with soil
- Mowed the grass
- Removed all trash/general clean up
- Added new hose
