(Columbus)-- The deadline for the 2012 Graffiti Grant application has been extended to Friday, August 31st at 5 pm.
The City of Columbus has decided to extend the application period for the Coalition for a Nonviolent Columbus 2012 Graffiti Grants for an additional week. We are pleased to be able to offer this approach by which community groups can complete their own volunteer projects in their neighborhoods and stifle the spread of graffiti vandalism.
The maximum grant amount is $5,000 and must be used on graffiti removal projects or for community mural projects. In addition, the funding may only be used for equipment and materials needed to abate graffiti or create the murals. The grant award will come in the form a store account through which to purchase the necessary items. Grant applications are available on the CNC website.
