More than 2,500 sixth-grade students from throughout Columbus City Schools (CCS) will participate in an educational pep rally and baseball game at The Ohio State University, Tuesday, May 17, 2011, when OSU plays against the Toledo University Rockets. Now in its seventh year, CCS Baseball Day's intent is to show students the opportunities available and advantages of higher education, as well as the importance of staying in school. Take Your Child to Work Day 2011 The national observation of "Take Your Child to Work Day", was Thursday, April 28, 2011; which coincided with the administration of the Ohio Achievement Tests.
