Hello Gardeners!
We will be planting the community bed tomorrow morning, 9am-noon (Saturday, May 21), and doing some other things like getting a few things from a neighbors yard for borders and potato planting, planting flowers along the fence, and general garden readiness.
On Sunday, we will be placing the pavers for the wheelchair accessible areas of the garden! All hands are needed from 9am-noon (sorry about the time frame) as this will be heavy work and many hands will make it easier. We have a student group from OSU coming to help - they requested the time frame, so if you need to come later, that's fine! Anyone with hard rakes, please bring them. If you want to drop them off in the garden on Saturday, we can store them in the tool box overnight.
Thanks to everyone in advance for their help. Lu Taylor has made a wonderful card for all of us to sign and send to Bill Gerhardt and Greenscapes for donating the pavers. We will also be creating some signs either this weekend or in the coming couple of weeks - we'd love help if you have an eye for painting.
