WHAT :
The last day of school for Columbus Public School students is June 2nd and ensuring children continue to eat healthy during the summer break can be challenging for many working parents. Councilmember Hearcel F. Craig, chair of the Health, Housing & Human Services Committee, will discuss the 2011 Summer Food Service Program offered by the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. The annual program provides free breakfast, lunch and snacks to children ages 1-18 at over 160 sites throughout Columbus.
