WHAT :
Councilmember Michelle M. Mills, chair of the Safety Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss the installation of safety cameras in five Columbus neighborhoods.  The pilot project, announced last fall, is designed to improve the safety in Columbus by serving as a deterrent to crime and giving police and prosecutors another tool to hold criminals accountable for their actions. Speaker slips will be accepted until 5 pm.
 
Parking is free after 5 pm at City Hall and the meeting will be broadcast live on CTV, the Columbus’ public broadcast channel 3 on local cable systems.
